Why do you blame us God? You know of the future and you surely foresaw this. But instead of stopping Satan from entering paradise, you only sent Raphael to warn us! How did you expect a warning to stop Satan’s corruption! Humans don’t even have the full comprehension that angels have! You may have created us with an infinite will, but you left us without an unlimited understanding. You created us, knowing we’d want to explore this Paradise and expand our understanding. You created a tree, that we were not to go near or eat the fruit of, but then you named it the Tree of Knowledge. We were created in your image, who is all knowing. Why should we be banished by cravings to expand our own knowledge? Furthermore, why do you banish us based on our actions? Humans are susceptible to lapses in logic, but throughout our actions, our goals were focused on “how to fulfill the work that you assigned us!” But Eve and I need each other. “How can we live without thee?” On a mortal level, I could not forgo our love so dearly joined! I told you how I need a partner, an equal. You created us with an infinite will so that we could love. I could not let Eve go. But we never wanted to defy you. We were only following our human instincts! We would be eternally grateful for a second chance.
