a. logos=the logical argument.
What is the claim (or thesis or assertion)? What support is provided?
b. pathos= the emotional appeal
What emotions of the audience are being appealed to? With what devices of speech, tone and gesture?
c. ethos=the ethical stature of the speaker; credibility and authority
How does the speaker try to make himself believable and trustworthy?
