End Quarter Information for
English 512: Shakespeare
and Renaissance Drama
As indicated on the course syllabus, comparison papers are due in class
on Monday December 1. Please
make seven copies, one for each member of the class and one for the instructor. If youÕve already submitted a draft and
received feedback, attach that to the instructor copy. In class that day you will be presenting
your paper to the rest of the group.
Be prepared to read it fluently and with expression, as if you were
delivering it at a conference. These
presentations will serve as the first review of course material for the final
exam and will allow for feedback from fellow students which should contribute
to your revision process. All of us will be providing written feedback on
these papers and will return them to their authors at the class on Wednesday
December 3. This class will be
devoted to a review of all the quarterÕs readings and presentations and a
discussion of some unifying themes.
The final draft of the paper is due at the instructorÕs officeÑ47-25EÑno
later than 6 pm on Monday December 8.
The Final exam will take place in our classroomÑ22-314Ñstarting at 4:10
p.m. on December 10 2003. It
will simulate one of the questions on the M.A. Exam.
This means it will last 75 minutes and will ask a broad question that
should be answered in general terms with specific examples from at least four
of the readings.
